PEDAGOGY CAFÉ is Šumatovačka program that combines food as a physical human necessity with art and various dimensions of intellectual and spiritual capacities given by birth to every man. 

In the context of Šumatovačka educational art practice, Pedagogy Café program is aiming for encouragement of critical thinking through atypical creative contents which are open towards public as meeting points of culinary art and theory of art, screenings of video art and cocktail dinners, conversations with the artist.

Program includes several lectures during the year, which consist of food preparation by the host artist’s chosen recipe and culture and art themed conversation that could relate to work of the guest artist.

Considering the fact that many of our renowned artists attended classes in Šumatovačka at some point, and that there are those who came back as teachers, we thought they could be our guest lecturers, hosts of the evening that is.
